Dear
Parents and Guardians,
During the month of September, OLV
celebrates Hispanic American Heritage Month!
By the end of the week, OLV will have a larger
parking lot and an expanded playground area!
Congratulations to the OLV community for its
energetic efforts with "The Trek to 300" campaign.
Currently OLV has a student population of 207,
the most students attending OLV since June 2007.
On September 10, OLV will parade to the
Patriots Day Ceremony, which begins at 8:30 a.m.
Please consider joining either the Holy Name Society
or the Mothers Club this school year. These organizations
fund raise thousands of dollars for the school, and they need
your help to succeed.
Father Robert Fedek will be installed as the Pastor of
OLV on Sunday, October 10, 2010. All members
of the OLV church and school community are invited to attend
this wonderful OLV event.
OLV:LIVE will be held on Saturday, November 6,
2010! More details will follow soon.
Last year OLV celebrated
the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of OLV
School on May 22, 2010. This year the
Spring Alumni Event will be held on Saturday, May 21,
2011. On May 28, 2011, OLV will celebrate the
100th Anniversary of the Dedication of the OLV
School by Archbishop Quigley.
All parents or guardians should have received their initial
Beginning of the School Year packets, with plenty
of information and paperwork to complete inside. Please send to
the Main Office all of the required paperwork as soon as you are
able to do so. Thanks for your time and cooperation!
